What is the German Seminar?

The seminar for German language skills and culture was established in 1955 for anyone who is interested in studying German language and gaining knowledge about Germany and other German-speaking countries. If you are interested in studying German in a small group within a familiar atmosphere with a learner-adapted tempo, this seminar is just the right opportunity!

Whatever your motivation to study German might be, you will soon come to realize that it is not as difficult as you might have thought. Helping your children with their homework will be a lot easier with your new German skills. And on your trip to Germany there won't be any problems getting around, asking for directions or ordering meals. And last but not least, you will be able to read the original Nietsche, Kant or Goethe!

We look forward to welcoming you in the seminar.

Nina Kanematsu
Head of the German Seminar
